More than a grand, delicious meal, Thanksgiving offers us a pause in the daily fray to deepen into ourselves and to appreciate our family and friends. In honor of the holiday, here are some titles on gratitude, contentment, and spiritual journeys:

The Tennessee Stage Company and Shakespeare On The Square will perform a round table reading of Cymbeline on Sunday, November 16 at 2:00 in the Lawson McGhee Library meeting room.
2015 Knoxville Remembered Calendar

This year, the calendar is better than ever, with a colorful redesign and extended descriptions of each photo. Photos include views of Chilhowee Park, the construction of the Kress Building, the Airplane Filling Station and many faces of Knoxville past. 

The production and distribution of Knoxville Remembered calendars is made possible through partnerships with the East Tennessee Historical Society and the Friends of the Knox County Public Library.
