    • Credit Card
    • Social Security Card
    • School ID
    • Hunting/Fishing License

  2. Proof of Knox County Address

    • A piece of mail received at your Knox County address, postmarked within the last 30 days

You may check out up to four items as a first time card user. After these items are returned, you may check out up to 35 items.

Once you receive your card, you may use it at any Knox County Public Library location.

Out-of-county

If you are not a Knox County resident or property owner, you and your household members may obtain a card for an annual fee of $40. To receive a card by mail, fill out the above application completely (don't forget to choose a PIN) and send it with your check to:

Lawson McGhee Library
