Tennessee death certificates on microfilm

Sample death certificate

In the state of Tennessee, death certificates become public record after 50 years. Although both familysearch.org and ancestry.com have made digital copies available online, their collections are not completely up to date. Now that the McClung Collection has acquired the microfilmed Tennessee death certificates from 1965, our collection includes all the Tennessee death certificates from 1914–1965.
