Indexes for Tennessee death certificates for the years noted. The McClung Collection has microfilm of death certificates and indexes from all of Tennessee for the years 1914 - 1956. Since Tennessee Death Certificates are not public records until 50 years after the death, more recent certificates must be ordered from Tennessee Vital Records.

Tennessee Sanborn Maps 1867-1970
Sanborn fire insurance maps are valuable historical tools. They include information such as the outline of each building,
the size, shape and construction materials, heights, and function of structures,
location of windows and doors. The maps also give street names, street and
sidewalk widths, property boundaries, building use, and house and block numbers.
Seven or eight different editions represent some areas.
