Survivors Club is a gripping book that is able to give readers an eye-opening view into the horrors that Jews suffered during World War II. As the title suggests, it is a completely true story, written in the perspective of one of the authors, Micheal Bernstein, as a young boy. The authors are able present vivid imagery showing how thousand of families were split and innocent people were worked to death and senselessly murdered. I was able to know in detail the harsh reality of what these people went through. Reading this, helps me to realize just how lucky many of us have it, that things could so much worse. This is, in all honesty, a book I would recommend any day. I can guarantee I will pick this book up again to reread myself or to suggest it to a friend.
