Uchronia. Alternate History. The "What Ifs". Whatever you call it, I love it, and this book sets the bar high.

The book is set in an alternative timeline of Earth's history. What would have happened if the Axis powers won WWII? For one thing, a motorcycle race across the continents with the prize being money, a ball, and an audience with Adolf Hitler.

A survivor of experimentation at a death camp, Yael has one thing she wants: to win the Axis Tour and murder Hitler as he presents her the award. But how? The inhumane tests inflicted on her left her with a unique ability to change her appearance at will. So Yael sets out to complete the race in the place of last year's winner Adele Wolfe.

Tensions build as she is met with sabotage, murder, and unwanted attention coming from Adele's brother and former lover who notice something is off. Can she complete her assignment?

This book was gripping. I couldn't put it down, nor did I want to. The ending came from completely out of the blue, and it made me love it even more. I would definitely recommend this book.
