Ann Thornfield-Long is a co-author of Tennessee Women of Vision and Courage, (2013, edited by Crawford and Smiley). She was nominated for the Rhysling Award, an annual award given for the best  science fiction, fantasy, or horror poem of the year, and for the Pushcart prizes (2018). She won the Patricia Boatner Fiction Award (2017) for her novel excerpt “The Crying Room,” and has poetry published and forthcoming in Silver Blade, Liquid Imagination, Abyss and Apex, Wordgathering, Artemis, Riddled with Arrows, and other journals and anthologies.
