Join Matthew DeBardelaben on Wednesday, July 17 (new date) at 6:00 discussing The Wind in the Willows at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center.
The Wind in the Willows tells the adventures of four animal friends who live along a river in the English countryside: Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger. The themes of friendship, loyalty and forgiveness endear these characters to each new generation of readers. The tale has been lovingly illustrated and enlarged by artists, writers, playwrights, musicians, and others over the years.
DeBardelaben is Director of Farming Operations at Blühen Botanicals. He is a member of the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club and the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce; he serves on the board of the Knoxville's Central Business Improvement District and helps curate Knoxville's PechaKucha.
Thanks to a generous donation from Friends of the Knox County Library, free copies of the book are available at the Lawson McGhee Library. Copies will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
