The Book Behind My Story welcomes Samantha Lane

Join Samantha Lane in a discussion of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown on June 20, 6:00–7:00, at the Lawson McGhee Library.

Essentialism discusses a systematic discipline for discerning what is absolutely essential, then eliminating everything that is not, so you can make the highest possible contribution towards the things that really matter.

Samantha Lane is a time management consultant with previous experience in advertising, public relations, and higher education. In 2014, she experienced a life-changing surgery that shifted her perspective on life. After years of juggling full-time careers and passion-based side-hustles, Samantha started Origami Day to help others bring balance to their busy lives. Samantha holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from King University. When she is not helping people live their best lives, Samantha spends her time enjoying life with her loved ones.

Thanks to a generous donation from Friends of the Knox County Library, free copies of the book will be available at the Lawson McGhee Library. Copies, when available, will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
