Rules of conduct

For the safety and comfort of everyone using the library, the following behaviors are prohibited:

  1. Any behavior that is disruptive to library use
  2. Eating 
  3. Consumption of alcoholic beverages; drinking nonalcoholic beverages from screw top bottles is permitted.
  4. Misuse of restrooms
  5. Leaving children under 10 unsupervised or ignoring their disruptive behaviors
  6. Violating Public Computer Use Policy
  7. Having more than 2 bags measuring a total of 12"x15"x24"
  8. Inappropriate clothing
  9. Smoking or other uses of tobacco including e-cigarettes
  10. Offensive personal hygiene
  11. Leaving personal belongings unattended
  12. Soliciting library patrons or staff for money, items, or services
  13. Loitering
  14. Bringing in animals, other than service animals, without prior permission
  15. Leaving unsupervised children under 18 on library premises after closing time

Anyone disregarding these regulations is subject to removal from library premises and/or restriction of library privileges.
