This book was the third book in the series, but I was still able to understand the book from the beginning because the characters were all introduced well. The reason that I only gave this book four stars was because it was a very predictable book and some of it was a bit unrealistic. For example, an entire small troop showing up at their camp to arrest one man. But other than that I enjoyed the book, and I felt like the characters were realistic and that the plot was good. The author did not make many references to previous books in the series that were not understandable, this was good because I have not read any of the previous books and I understood the book well. So overall it was a good book and I would recommend reading it but it was just very predictable so I can only give it four stars.
