The Brilliant Death by Amy Rose Capetta

This book was average. On a whole, everything felt really rushed. The author did not develop the characters very well and the plot moved too fast and didn’t have enough detail. I also didn’t really like the beginning and I had a hard time getting into the book. I did not feel invested in the story or feel connected to the characters at all. The writing felt basic and did not appeal to me as a reader. However, the last third of the book was a lot better. If the whole book had been written like the last part, I would have given it five stars.
