I'm not typically a romance fan, so this book was breaking new ground for me. But overall, I'd say this book was a good read.

The premise of the book is a Muslim Indian-American teen navigating life in her senior year. Now, I'm not a Muslim, so I have no idea if these types of experiences are typical or not. But I loved the theme of refusing victim-hood and moving on, along with the plea to not label people. A Muslim girl is not necessarily a terrorist. A white supremisist may have been made that way by others.

There were a few instances of cursing, but not too much. This book wasn't my absolute favorite, but I'd say that I'd read it again.

This new title will be released in January 2018.
