I read the preview and immediately wasn’t interested, so I decided to go ahead and try and read it. I didn’t get quite far, but it was OK as far as I got. It was one of those love stories where the girl falls for two guys, except that religion was kinda woven in. It focused on the racism against Jews and how she fell for a Christian boy. I would’ve enjoyed the book a lot more if it would’ve been in present time, but it was set in 1958. I like to be able to relate to the characters I’m reading about, and here it was hard to find a few things.
