There Will Come a Darkness centers around five characters: two girls and three boys. It's a fantasy type book that hints of romance in it. There wasn't a lot of romance in this book but I'm sure more romantic elements will appear in the next book in the series. If you like long books then this is for you as well. It's longer than your average fantasy novel, letting you stay in that world a little longer. BUT. This book was SO. FRUSTRATING!! Not in the sense of it being frustrating because of bad grammar (actually it has an amazing plot and amazing grammar which got me really happy. The execution of the plot throughout the book was STUNNING!!). It's the type of frustrating where the characters have to meet up and end up missing each other BY ONE CHAPTER! THOSE kinds of frustrating, the "right place at wrong time". I cannot tell you how many times this has happened between characters that's left me irritated.

Other than that tiny, tidbit of upsettingness, I liked the book a lot. It wasn't a book that really popped up, but it was a really good, average fantasy novel if you want something fantasy based to get through. The characters are fairly decent and the "Four Bodily Graces" (which are the powers some of the people have) was creative.
