Zac is the boy in Room 1. Mia is his loud neighbor in the cancer ward. She is dark and feisty, but he is drawn to her for reasons unexplained. Mia is running away from all the hurt, and Zac is there to help her. In the course of nine months, a friendship is formed, and memories are made.
I had mixed feelings about this book after finishing it. Part of me loved the sweet story that transpired, the other part felt upset over the cliched story line. I would recommend this book to someone who likes this type of romantic genre, but realizes that it is unoriginal.
